Some recent posts have been finely tuned just to generate page views for no other purpose than making the statistics page change from how it looked the day before.
Usually, the tool used for this has been Haiku, mainly because it only takes four or five seconds to write. However, today I had an extra two or three seconds, so I did a tanka.
is anyone else
getting a bit fed up with
endless haiku verse?
well, if you like, I can now
expand your mind with tanka
Thank you for visiting Scribblans today. Sorry it probably wasn’t very good.
This bit of text here used to be me wittering on and effectively begging you to share the post, but I have decided not to bother with all that for 2021. Most people ignore it anyway.

Oh dear.
I was only trying to expand your mind, not make it explode.

We seem to be on a similar trajectory at the moment. Or should that be a cynical trajectory? I’m actually getting tired of my own syllable based poetry but when it’s a choice between that or posting nothing, I find that I’m quite comfortable with my own hypocrisy. And that stats don’t lie. Well they do but I quite enjoy their false narrative…

It may be… although perhaps not a ‘trajectory’ for me, with its connotation of some form of dynamism and movement. Perhaps it would be better described as ‘a rut’.
