I used to try to make my non-rhyming five line posts topical, thus I called them Topical Five Line No-Rhyme Time.
But, for sanity reasons, I am trying to restrain myself from being quite as topical as I have previously been.
So logically, I have modified the title of my posts that used to be called ‘Topical Five Line No-Rhyme Time‘, and changed them to simply ‘Five Line No-Rhyme Time‘.
Hopefully you should get the point that they are no longer ‘Topical’ from that. Also hopefully, you won’t be expecting them to rhyme either.
Here’s a Five Line No-Rhyme Time verse–using the 2-4-6-8-2 syllable ‘American’ construction–that is not Topical at all.
Apart from it being the right day.
sunday often the day that means work tomorrow but under lockdown conditions sunday
Please note: Any similarity to a previously posted Five Line No-Rhyme Time, entitled ‘Friday‘, is entirely due to me following the environmentally responsible mantra ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’.
Also, it might be because I didn’t spend much time on this blog this week as I was revamping my photo blog, which is now called Bear Humphreys Photo and has about 100 less posts on it than it did last week.
More ‘Reducing’ there. I am being extra responsible and green this week, so I probably deserve a biscuit.
Thank you for visiting Scribblans today. Sorry it probably wasn’t very good this time.
Did you know, if you share this post on your social media, it might have the effect of making you feel better? About everything?
Yes it could. Well, try it if you don’t believe me then.
Exactly. Often the day that means work tomorrow. Ugh.

Someone should write a song about it.

Sunday, funday? Work minus one day…. I could go on but I won’t. It’s Sunday after all and I’m too depressed 😂.

I was thinking ‘I Don’t Like Mondays’, but perhaps someone’s already done that.

That was worth a biscuit.

To be honest Herb, just walking anywhere within 2 metres of the biscuit tin is normally enough to be deserving of a biscuit.
