I used to try to make my non-rhyming five line posts topical, thus I called them Topical Five Line No-Rhyme Time. But now they’re not topical.
So here’s a Five Line No-Rhyme Time verse–using the 2-4-6-8-2 syllable ‘American’ construction–that is not topical at all.
Apart from it being Easter.
the tale they taught at school I never understood shiny choccy eggs from rabbits? unlikely, and not entirely believable in the same way as how some grave robbers got away with telling a story about a body seeming to come back to life and then rising to heaven in some sort of glowing tractor beam when they got caught...
Sorry, I appear to have slightly gone over the two syllables for the last line.
Thank you for visiting Scribblans today. Sorry it probably wasn’t very good this time.
Did you know, if you share this post on your social media, it might have the effect of making you feel better? About everything?
Yes it could. Well, try it if you don’t believe me then.
A chocolate-egg laying rabbit is relatively tame compared to some of the claims made by our government in recent times.

Typical, shoe-horning politics into an otherwise entirely sensible and believable post about egg-laying rabbits and miracles.
P.S. Happy Birthday.
